Take
a timeout, Listen to the wind, listen to the rustel of water. Listen to
the wind as it sings. Take a look at the glorious sun, shining in it's
beauty, just as our Glorious Son is shining in His beauty. Remember to
Breathe, not physically, but spiritually. Times of feeling lost,
despair, sorrow, we would be surprised to find that during these times
we are holding our breathes. We doubt of what God has instore for us.
Our little faith becomes apparent, we fall into the water just as Peter
did. Peter cried out to Jesus, we do too, but sometimes we do not. We
are caught in a slump, the roller coaster hits the top, and we're going
full speed down, when does it go up again, we do not know. We hold our
breathes as it drops. Eyes closed, Faith gone.
"I'd leave 99, leave them all behind to find you." We hear the Lord God
speak. Our eyes come back open, our hand hits our friend sitting next
to us. Finally our lungs that have been depraved of air, opens up, our
friend looks at us, we look back. Together we know we can make it, Air
rushes in our lungs. Oh how good it feels to breathe again we think!,
The coaster comes to a stop, it is going back up. Our running buddy in
the race of life is sitting next to us through the whole ride! What
joy, to know when all is lost we have someone sitting next to us,
running with us, picking us up when we trip in the race. What joy to
know that even after that person we have God.
Two are better than one,
because they have a good return for their work:
If one falls down,
his friend can help him up.
But pity the man who falls
and has no one to help him up!
Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm.
But how can one keep warm alone?
Though one may be overpowered,
two can defend themselves.
A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.
Ecclesiastes 4:9-12
The Apostle Paul always compared life to a race, in the race of life, it is good to have running buddies.......
Who are your running buddies? Me, I wanna bring the whole crew, the ones that aren't as close, the ones that are right with God I want them all running with me....
Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made
perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus
took hold of me. Brothers,
I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I
do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
Philipians 3:12-14
Keep on striding! Look up at the goal you're running for, never stop running until your at the end, the end of life, the end when your outta your body and Satan is screaming cuz he lost another soul, keep on striding my brothers....
Why oh, oh why do you reject our cries O Lord? Have we all not asked that question before? Let's look at Matthew 15:21-28
Jesus went away from there, and withdrew into the district of Tyre and Sidon. And a Cannanite woman from that region came out and bgan to cry out, saying, "Have mercy on me, Lord, Son of David; my daughter is cruelly demon-posessed." But He did not answer her a word. And His disciples came and implored Him ,saying, "send he away, because she keeps shouting at us." But He answered and said, "I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel." But she came and began to bow down bbefore Him, saying, "Lord, help me!" And He answered and said, "It is not good to take the children's bread and throw it to the dogs." But she said, "Yes, Lord; but even the dogs feed on the crums which fall from their masters' table." Then Jesus said to her, "O woman, your faith is great; it shall be done for you as you wish." And her daughter was heal at once. Matthew 15:21-28 NASB
This passage surprised me. Okay first, the Cannanite Woman asked Jesus to have mercy.. yet in verse 23, Jesus does not answer her a word, He acted as if he didn't hear her. Again in verse 23, the disciples came and told Jesus to get rid of her because she was shouting at them. The woman must have been making a big scene. Yet Jesus answered, "I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel." Again the Woman came and bowed down at Jesus' feet and asked for help. Yet Jesus seemed to send her away with what he said. Yet the woman peservered. Jesus said that her faith was great so her child would be healed. Let's take a look at the Cannanite woman. She must have been raised to think there were many gods and she had a lot idols in her house worshipping them. Her child was demon possessed and I guess she heard of this Jesus and came to Him and asked for help. Jesus ignored her once and seemed to send her away one time. Yet she pesevered. And Jesus said her faith was great. I can see Jesus smiling when He said this. I know that ignoring and sending her away was all part of His plan. He wanted the woman to really step up and show Him her faith. To us, we should be like the Cannanite woman, in prayer. We pray once and if it isn't answered we stop praying. Let us not do this, for we should show peserverance as the Cannanite woman and stand up and pray for what you want. Show your faith great and He will grant what you want.
I love thee, says the Lord Almighty, I will be with you until the end of this world.
When you read this send it to everyone you know, it is a promise you can't resist.
I'm calling out to you, My heart is reaching out more than you'll ever know, I want you to be saved. Never lose your faith in Me. Oh for you I have not swam the deepest ocean yet I have walked on it, I have died the worst death possible. I was called fool, I was rejected, alone, I always knew though My Father was with me and My Father and I love you. Sometimes you doubt, but why would I abandon you? After all did I not spread out my arms and died? Why than do you lose faith in a savior who is mighty. I can move the mountains, and I am mighty to save. So come back and I will run to you as you run to Me. You cannot afford to lose your faith in Me which you have built your foundation of trust and faith on. My love it beckons deeply, I call to you come and die and you will find that you can truly live. I say, now, listen to me. Sin has lost it's power, death has lost it's sting, I have risen from the grave victoriously. I am the truth, the light. Oh thee who hears this come and run to the marvelous light. From creation you were tainted when Adam fell. Yet I have justifed you, so my Father will accept you. Come back home daughters and sons. All power has been given to me, and know this, I will be with you all the way til the end. I have not said it will be easy, but I did say I would see you through the storm.
A hope. A promise. A love, that will not fail.
